Vento Volkswagen

Vento Volkswagen, The German auto giant has revealed its newest sedan, the latest Volkswagen Vento in IndiaVento Volkswagen on July 6th 2010, Tuesday. The Polo based sedan has been prior opened in Russia and now Volkswagen India attempts to launch it in the Indian car market. Volkswagen Vento worth in India is estimated to be Rs. 7 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs.


The Vento have most fabulous features with nice design and it is mainly design for the fast car lovers, its means the 'Wind' in Italian language, is able of generating maximum power of 105 bhp @5250 rpm and a torque of 153 nm @3800rpm with its 1.6 L petrol engine. while it can produce a maximum power of 105 bhp @4400 rpm and a torque of 250nm@1500-2500rpm with its 1.6L CRDI diesel engine.





The additional features and specifications of Vento Volkswagen include all the features of Polo with several additional latest features. These include a comfy interior and other features like a height adjustable driver's seat, engine immobilizer and supremacy windows. The safety features comprise Air bags, ABS, and EBD. The Vento comes with five speed manual transmission in the CRDI engine while the petrol version gets a six speed automatic transmission option as well.


The dimensions of Volkwagen Vento comprise 4.38m of length, 1.7 m width and 1.46 m of height and a wheel-base of 2.55 m. The Vento stands tall with a 15mm enhance in ground clearance as and its extended size certainly increases the seating and storage space.


The Vento in India Neeraj Garg, who is member BOD VW passenger cars said that "The Vento stands for German engineering, best in Class Features; This particular model has been specifically designed with the expectations and wants of our customers in mind".


The sedan is placed above the Polo and below the Jetta by Volkswagen. Volkswagen will allot Vento from the Chakan plant in India. In order to meet up the demands of 10,000 waiting consumers for Polo, VW aims to restore the production facilities at Chakan where its Polo hatchback and Vento are being produced.
