nubrella send a ball
A new kind of umbrella promises to keep you drier while you fiddle with your cell phone, handbag or briefcase.
Nubrella is designed to look like a bubble and the basic aim of this protective bubble it to keep anyone dry while staying in the rain. It is a kind of umbrella and is considered as first design of hand free aerodynamic umbrella. Alan Kaufman has the honor to build and invent this new kind of umbrella. He got this idea when he saw the people of New York struggling while moving in the rain with their windblown umbrellas.
The Nubrella is a big plastic dome that rests on your shoulders. While it keeps you dry through the strongest rain storm, that level of weather protection comes at a cost: Let’s just call it the dorkiness factor.
Nubrella is protective bubble that will keep you dry. Nubrella is the first aerodynamically-designed, hands-free umbrella. Nubrella was invented by Alan Kaufman after he watched New Yorkers struggle with their windblown umbrellas in the rain. Last Friday, Kaufman was on ABC's reality TV show Shark Tank. Nubrella costs $39.99.
“I just realized that the umbrella is not designed for wind and it should be aerodynamic in shape. I also said wouldn't it be wonderful to have a hands-free umbrella?” said Kaufman.
The new-style umbrella looks like something out of a bad science fiction movie.
When I first saw a photo of it, I was intrigued and decided to test it out for myself. So during the first April rainstorm that came my way, I headed out on the streets of Manhattan.
Immediately people’s heads turned. I was instantly the center of attention ― not an easy feat on a busy New York street.
But I wasn’t so sure this was the kind of attention I wanted.
