Mazda Recall

Mazda Recall, Mazda Motor Corp. announced that it will recall 89,822 Mazda3/Axela compact cars in Japan and China in order to fix a problem with the oil hose. And this is not all because it appears that also 191,503 cars sold elsewhere including Europe could be subject to repairs.

Apparently the problem is due to driving on rough roads for an extended time and could cause the oil hose to rub against the radiator's protective panel causing oil to leak. In the worst scenario the car would be unable to start. Regarding the U.S. version of the Mazda3, the manufacturer said that this uses a different engine and is not subject to any repairs. Regarding the European version of the Mazda3, the manufacturer said that it will decide how to repair it according to safety regulations in each country.
